Target is hiring a Security Specialist to help keep guests, team members, and the store secure. You will use de-escalation skills, operate video systems, and document incidents in the case management system while maintaining a friendly guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests and assisting as needed.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you.
• Document security incidents accurately in the case management system.
