Qualifications

• This role supports academic, vocational or special education classes in the absence of the assigned teacher.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of an academic, vocational, or special education instructor in their absence
• Continue the delivery of the curriculum and activities as set forth by teachers who are absent
• Perform duties and tasks as requested by school administrators
• Take reliable and consistent attendance for each class covered
• Provide consistent classroom management while substituting in a class
• Manage multiple daily assignments as assigned by the substitute scheduler and administration
• Attend trainings as required or requested
• Assist clerical staff with special projects
• Perform all other duties as assigned or requested by school administrators
