Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve in the school setting in Allentown, PA. You will evaluate students and provide and document therapy sessions according to each plan of care and physician orders.

This contract full-time role offers competitive pay at $60 per hour, weekly pay, and benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k). Active licensure and CCC-SLP are preferred; CPR and health certificates may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred or may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations and providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care and physician orders.
