Job summary

GYMGUYZ Silicon Valley is hiring energetic, certified PE Trainers to lead in-person Physical Education classes for elementary and high school students at partner campuses in Castro Valley and nearby cities. Trainers will teach on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, delivering fitness, skill-development, and game-based lessons that align with the partner school's PE curriculum framework.

Two openings — one male and one female — ensure coverage across locker room supervision and all student groups,

Qualifications

Prior experience teaching, coaching, or training elementary and/or high school-aged students.
Strong classroom and group-management skills; ability to lead, motivate and supervise groups.
CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.
Background check / Live Scan clearance to work with minors.
Transportation and availability for a consistent Mon/Wed/Fri schedule.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver structured, curriculum-aligned PE lessons for elementary and high school blocks.
Ensure full, active student participation and adapt instruction for all levels.
Use Teaching Games for Understanding (TGFU) to progress drills to full game play.
Incorporate state Health curriculum content as assigned by campus.
Maintain safe, respectful, inclusive learning environments and follow campus policies.
