Job summary

Union County Public Schools is seeking a School Nutrition Assistant for the Piedmont Cluster Floater 6.0 to join our cafeteria team. This full-time role involves serving students and staff, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and supporting daily meal service in a busy school environment.

You will be on your feet most of the shift, lift up to 50 pounds as needed, and must adhere to health department standards while delivering friendly, engaging service. Training provided; benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must love children and be dependable in adherence to the work schedule.
• Must know how to cashier and perform cashiering duties.
• External applicants must proficiently cashier within 30 days of being hired.

Responsibilities

• Be active on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Maintain kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health department regulations.
• Sweep, mop and take out trash as needed and ensure safe food handling and service.
