Job summary

KidStrong Lake Oswego is hiring a Sales Associate to generate and convert membership opportunities. The role serves as the primary contact for prospective families, guiding them through enrollment and ensuring a positive first experience.

You will manage inbound leads, perform outbound outreach, schedule trials, and maintain organized lead pipelines, collaborating with coaches and the local center team. The position requires strong communication, sales discipline, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably outbound or consultative
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with high-volume outbound calling and lead follow-up
• Experience with CRM tools and lead management systems
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional community events
• Experience in children's programming, fitness, or education-related industries is preferred but not required
• Passion for helping kids develop strong bodies, minds, and character

Responsibilities

• Lead Conversion & Sales Execution
• Conduct high-volume outbound calls, texts, and (some) emails to follow up with inbound leads
• Schedule trial classes and ensure strong attendance through consistent confirmation and follow-up
• Engage in consultative conversations with parents to understand needs and position program value
• Convert trial attendees into active memberships through clear communication of benefits
• Engage with walk-in prospects and trial families to deliver a positive first experience
• Maintain lead records within the CRM and manage pipelines
• Process membership transactions and account updates
• Communicate with prospective and current members using approved tools
• Track and report sales activity including calls, emails, and trials
• Identify and develop new lead sources through partnerships
• Represent KidStrong at community events and networking opportunities
• Promote the program within the surrounding community
• Support referrals and grassroots marketing initiatives
• Collaborate with coaching team to ensure smooth trial experiences
• Provide clear member communication and onboarding support
• Work with center operations and leadership on reporting and objectives
• Maintain professionalism and reliability in all interactions
