Five Below is seeking part-time Sales Associates to join our energetic team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet customers, answer questions, and help them find the latest trends at ultra-low prices, delivering outstanding service that drives sales.

Ideal candidates are 16 or older, flexible, tech-savvy, and communicative, with a positive attitude and a passion for teamwork. Training is provided and growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld devices)
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: Approach and acknowledge customers immediately, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs: Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations.
• Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions: Inform customers about current store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: Address customer issues and use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management: Regularly inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and any customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals: Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
