Job summary

Five Below is seeking part-time Sales Associates to greet and assist customers, keep the store well-stocked, and provide seamless checkout experiences. You will use the cash register and technology to help customers and complete transactions, while delivering friendly, high-energy service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old, comfortable with technology, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers and mobile devices.
• Good communicator able to engage with customers.
• Able to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: Approach and acknowledge customers immediately, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs: Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions: Inform customers about current store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: Address customer issues and use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management: Regularly inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and any customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals: Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
