Job summary

Katy Christian Ministries operates a busy resale store and is seeking a friendly retail associate to greet customers, operate the cash register, and process vouchers and refunds. You will price, stock, and stage items to entice shoppers while supporting a smooth store flow.

The role requires stocking, merchandising, and cross-training across departments, plus attending meetings and maintaining dressing rooms.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Willingness to cross-train across store areas

Responsibilities

• Assist and greet all customers in a friendly manner
• Work the cash register
• Process vouchers, gift certificates and refunds
• Help compile end of shift tally
• Clean, stock and stage items in the store
• Be familiar with name brands, latest fashion trends and antique furniture (to properly price)
• Prepare merchandise for sale (pricing, sorting, hanging, cleaning, etc.)
• Stage furniture to appeal to customers
• Check and maintain dressing rooms and restrooms
• Cross train in all areas of Resale Store as needed
• Attend all meetings, staff development and departmental meetings
• Perform all other duties as assigned
