Job summary

STEPS ON STONESTREET LLC is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide group and individual sessions for clients in recovery. The role requires active participation in a 12-step program, assisting with life skills, and coordinating care with the clinical team.

This is an in-person position with evening and weekend shifts. Qualified candidates have at least one year in recovery, Kentucky Peer Support certification or eligibility, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• One year in recovery
• Peer Support Certified by the state of Kentucky or eligible to become a Peer Support Specialist
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Peer Support Group and Individual Sessions for clients with Substance Abuse Disorder
• Support clients by taking them to meetings, helping with a 12 step program, life skills and daily living skills.
• Support clients in recovery and maintain positive working relationship with clients
• Work with Clinical Team to coordinate needed services for clients
• Maintain Client Files and documentationCreate a safe and Healthy environment for clients
