Job summary

Brains & Motion Education is seeking energetic Structured Recess & After-School Fitness Instructors to join our team. You will bridge students' academic day with their physical well-being, leading recess and after-school fitness sessions in a safe, inclusive environment.

In this role you will engage 20+ students, deliver age-appropriate activities for grades K–8, and foster teamwork and physical literacy. Part-time, seasonal schedule in local schools starting September 8, 2026.

Qualifications

• Passion for playing games and leading activities with children, modelling positive behavior.
• Experience in a school setting as an instructor or aide; PE or sports coaching preferred.
• Ability to work with students in grades K–8.
• Ability to manage and engage groups of 20+ students.
• Reliable transportation.
• A government-issued photo ID and travel to program locations as needed.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse environments with recess and after-school fitness sessions.
• Organize and lead a variety of activities aligned with curriculum.
• Promote safe, healthy habits and sportsmanship.
• Engage diverse groups of students (20+), ensuring inclusivity.
• Deliver PE lessons across multiple grade levels (K–8).
