Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a Receiver to support daily receiving, warehousing and direct issuance of goods across our properties in Kenner, LA. The role requires basic knowledge of receiving processes, PO research, vendor research and historical data review to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

You will unload deliveries, verify quantities, perform weight checks, document discrepancies, and maintain organized warehouse operations with FIFO stock rotation while collaborating with outlets and departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year experience in warehouse/receiving operations.
• Basic computer skills and math skills.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds without accommodation.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Must have a valid Louisiana Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming, health regulations and Boyd Gaming.
• Must have working knowledge and some experience with use of power equipment such as Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jacks, and Manual Pallet jacks.
• Must be able to work in various warehouse/receiving conditions and temperatures as needed – Example: Freezer, coolers, dry areas, wet areas, outside areas etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the unloading of goods from delivery trucks.
• Follow receiving dock processes for receipt and delivery; resolve discrepancies.
• Compare invoices and/or delivery documents to the Purchase Order to verify quantity and quality.
• Spot check product with catch weights using the scale at dock; print verified weights.
• Resolve delivery discrepancies – have documents changed by the driver before signing.
• Update receiving documents in the purchasing system.
• Transport product to appropriate location (e.g., warehouse, refrigerator, freezer, outlets).
• Assist with checking in, stocking, rotating, and organizing product.
• Ensure FIFO and proper stock rotation; respond to outlets and departments' needs.
• Log all Non-PO packages accurately on log sheets.
• Obtain signatures on requisitions at delivery of product.
• Deliver products/orders to appropriate departments/outlets; log at delivery.
• Assist periodic inventory processes.
