Webster Dental Care of Skokie is seeking a registered dental hygienist (RDH) for day shift in a modern, supportive office in Skokie, IL. The role focuses on preventive care, patient education, and collaboration with dentists to ensure safety and high-quality oral health.

The ideal candidate will hold a current IL RDH license, have or be willing to obtain CPR/BLS and radiography certifications, and be comfortable using Eaglesoft.

Qualifications

• Current and active IL State License.
• Experience with digital radiographs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify hygiene needs (prophy, SRP, FMD) and perform as needed.
• Conduct oral health assessments and record patient histories.
• Take and develop digital radiographs.
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and nutrition.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide where permitted by state law.
• Assist the dentist during examinations or procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure operatory cleanliness.
• Monitor and manage hygiene supplies and inventory.
• Stay up to date with continuing education and state licensing requirements.
• Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis), scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance.
