Job summary

Lyft is seeking a Data Scientist to help advance Dynamic Pricing & Offer Selection by building end-to-end models that scale across the network. You will partner with product, engineering, and pricing teams to translate problems into mathematical formulations and experiments.

You will design and run experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings to leadership, with a hybrid in-office schedule in San Francisco and competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in CS, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related quantitative field required.
• Strong programming skills in Python; SQL proficiency essential.
• Experience with data analysis, modeling, and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with scientists and pricing team to formalize problems mathematically.
• Develop and fit statistical, ML, or optimization models.
• Write production code and ship models to production with engineers.
• Design and run simulated and live experiments; analyze results.
• Communicate findings to Product, Engineering, and leadership.
