Little Village Country Day School is seeking an energetic Preschool Teacher to lead a class of 2.5 to 3-year-olds for the school year. You will assess students' levels, design instruction to meet group and individual needs, and foster a love of learning.

Qualifications

• CDA and state teaching certification are required.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and classroom management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and adherence to them.

Responsibilities

• Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum.
• Teach beginning reading and math skills.
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills.
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques.
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel.
• Assess students' skills and performance to ensure developmental milestones are met.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and mediation skills.
