Job summary

Kids R Kids Houston Heights is hiring teachers to nurture and educate children using our nationally accredited curriculum that supports social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development. We seek positive, energetic individuals who can drive growth, support elementary routines, and create a caring classroom culture.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, managing daily activities, and communicating with families. Positions available: full-time and part-time.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Pass a 3 point background check.
• Experience preferred (Willing to Train the Right Candidate).
• Must be comfortable changing diapers and potty training.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position (sitting on the floor, stooping, bending, reaching, lifting 20 lbs or more).
• Early childhood education or daycare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Teach children using nurturing, understanding, singing and patience to promote growth.
• Contribute to a curriculum that develops social, physical, verbal, and cognitive skills.
• Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
