Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Master’s degree in physical therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program may be accepted.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist license or temporary permit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and competent physical therapy as ordered by a physician.
• Plan, organize, and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams.

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

Master's degree in physical therapy (prior to 2019)

Bachelor's degree in physical therapy (prior to 2000)
