Qualifications

• Graduate of school approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, required.
• Must be licensed by the Mississippi Board of Physical Therapy.
• Familiar with modalities, procedures, techniques, and equipment necessary to meet the needs of our patient clientele.
• Must meet continuing education standards set by the Mississippi Board of Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• The PTA will work with and under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in the treatment of clinic patients.
• The PTA may treat any patient who has been evaluated and whose program of care has been planned by the therapist.
• The PTA may progress the patient’s treatment as appropriate.

Education
