Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab at Anchorage Healthcare Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring a Full Time Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab team. You’ll evaluate residents, plan and implement treatments, and guide the care team including PTAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Physical Therapy License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, Review, and Screen patient’s/resident’s medical charts, evaluations under physician order and develop a treatment plan in accordance with patient’s needs.
• Implement treatment plan through direct treatment, as well as education of the plan of care to all team members, including providing necessary supervision for PTAs.
• Attend/Lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to other members of rehab team, as well as conducting staff/family training and education when appropriate.
