Qualifications

• License by the Board of Physical Therapy in applicable State.
• Experience: no prior experience required, but would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients referred to Physical Therapy to determine current physical and functional status.
• Plans and conducts a therapy program including exercise, massage, thermal agents, water, light, and electricity.
• Directs and aids patients in active and passive exercises, gait and functional training.
• Uses equipment such as stimulators, ultrasound machines and therapeutic electrical devices.
• Provides instruction in posture and exercises to be continued by the patient.
