Job summary

Allied Services in Pennsylvania is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to administer physical therapy services in compliance with state law. The role serves patients across the age spectrum from pediatric to geriatric and requires knowledge of growth and development to assess client needs.

The position may involve functional supervision of PTA's and aides, and requires strong communication with management, staff, patients, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an approved school is required.
• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• New graduates are acceptable.
• 1–2 years physical therapy experience preferred.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania.
• Permanent licensure must be completed within a reasonable timeframe.
• Clear PA State Police background check and Child Abuse Central Register.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with staff and patients.
• Valid PA driver’s license for travel.
• CPR certification is required and must be maintained.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care from pediatric to geriatric.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy in accordance with state law.
• Provide care appropriate to the age of patients served (pediatric to geriatric).
• Supervise PTA's and support personnel during clinical activities.
