Job summary

OptumCare in California seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join our clinical team. The role emphasizes evaluating patients, creating individualized treatment plans, and delivering hands-on therapy in a fast-paced clinic.

Collaborate with physicians and staff, document progress, and educate patients on exercises and prevention. CA licensure and a PT degree are required to practice.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current CA state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy; new graduates welcome.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Ability to work efficiently with a high patient caseload.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions through assessments, interviews, and histories.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions including manual therapy and exercises.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to optimize recovery.
• Document patient interactions and progress in compliance with clinic policies.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals for integrated care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
• Analyses and investigates within area of expertise.
• Provide explanations and interpretations to patients and team.
