Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Physical Therapist for an onsite 13-week contract in Manhattan, KS. The role supports day shift coverage (40 hrs/week, 8 am–5 pm) with a minimum 32 hours of guaranteed work per week.

Duties include direct patient care, evaluations, and treatment planning within facility and payer guidelines. The position requires a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, current APTA certification, and KS state licensure, and involves lifting and transferring patients as part of routine care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current certification with the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed by the State in the designated geographic area.
• Ability to lift/move patients and perform required physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate patient care records.
• Report billing information to the Director of Physical Therapy.
• Provide direct patient care, evaluations, and treatment planning.
• Assist transfers, gait and balance as needed.
• Perform clinical functions: screens, evaluations, and treatment delivery.
• Coordinate with staff to implement treatment plans.
