Must hold current PTA licensure in Kentucky and CPR certification is preferred. Education requires an accredited PTA program, and 0–1 years of experience is typical for this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PTA license/certification in the relevant state.
• CPR certification preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patients’ responses to therapy and progress.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercises, safety precautions, and home progress strategies.
• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
