Qualifications

• Certification in Physical Education or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with a concentration in a content area.
• Secondary classroom experience in an urban context (three years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to interdisciplinary curriculum planning and development.
• Develop and implement assessments aligned to curriculum standards.
• Use student data to drive instructional decisions.
• Write cohesive lesson plans.
• Plan and teach lessons using inquiry-based approaches to learning.
• Foster positive relationships with students.
• Develop regular communication protocols with parents.
