Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts/Science in Education or field instruction required.
• Florida certification in the subject area required.

Responsibilities

• Teaches knowledge and skills in physical fitness, health education, rhythms and dance, and individual or team sports.
• Plans a program of study that meets students' needs, interests and abilities.
• Creates a conducive classroom environment for learning.
• Maintains accurate records and prepares classes as assigned.
• Encourages and models appropriate classroom behavior and standards.
• Communicates objectives and progress to students and parents.
• Collaborates with staff to develop shared lesson plans and goals.
• Assists administration with school policies and staff committees.
