Job summary

You must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Bilingual Spanish speakers are encouraged; you will collaborate with team members and follow bank policies.

Qualifications

• Background investigation required by company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and promote bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Achieve monthly new account production as assigned by management.
• Participate in an active sales environment with aisle prospecting as needed.
• Process deposits and payouts, record transactions and balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Examine cash to guard against counterfeit checks and improper ID.
• Enter transactions into the computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors related to bank functions.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Work within established approval limits.
