Job summary

CSN is seeking part‑time instructors to teach Surveying and Geomatics (SUR) courses, primarily in an on‑ground format. Teaching assignments will include college‑level Surveying and Geomatics courses, based on departmental needs.

Salary is $925.00 per credit hour, with courses/credits assigned varying by semester. This Exempt position is 47.5% FTE and offers on‑ground teaching across Clark County campuses, with day, evening and weekend opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
• Three or more years of experience in Land Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Teach college‑level Surveying and Geomatics courses.
• Develop syllabi and course materials in accordance with college policy.
• Maintain records, submit grades, and communicate with department and college personnel using the college LMS.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide teaching experience and student advisement, recruitment activities, and program/curriculum development.
• Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.
• Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses.
