Job summary

Portland Community College is seeking part-time faculty in Exercise Science at the Sylvania Campus for the Winter 2026 term. Applicants will list PCC courses they can teach and may be considered for substitute and short-term assignments.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in relevant fields and three years of industry experience; preferred CSCS certification and ability to teach multiple activity classes with CPR/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Psychology, Sports Fitness, Sports Science, Outdoor Recreation Leadership, Human Performance, Kinesiology, or Human Physiology with 3 years in the industry.
• Master’s degree in any field plus a Bachelor’s in Physical Education, Exercise Science, or related field with 3 years in the industry.
• Current certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid are preferred.
