Job summary

Foothill-De Anza Community College District invites applications for a pool of part-time Chinese language instructors (Mandarin & Cantonese). Panel will review submissions on an as-needed basis and contact qualified applicants for interviews.

Teaching assignments may include elementary, intermediate, and advanced Chinese courses, with duties extending to standard part-time faculty responsibilities such as timely grading, student assessment, and participation in professional development

Responsibilities

Teach elementary, intermediate, and advanced Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) language courses.
Part-time faculty perform instructional, counselor, or librarian duties as assigned, evaluate and assess student work, and submit grades in a timely manner; may participate in professional development and campus activities.
