BASIS Ed is seeking a qualified Physical Education Teacher for BASIS Flagstaff, starting December 2026. The SET will deliver subject-specific PE curriculum within BASIS’s co-teaching model, collaborating with LETs to meet student needs and ensure a world-class education.

The role emphasizes planning, high-quality instruction, and active collaboration to maintain an engaging and internationally competitive PE program for grades 2–7.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours with other degree).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Master's degree in subject matter or education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide instruction above grade level in an interactive setting.
• Implement BASIS Curriculum with engaging, creative lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with other BASIS teachers to develop curriculum and materials.
• Tutor students to advance academic and career success.
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement and responsibility.
• Support non-instructional functions (Early Bird, Late Bird, lunch).
• Maintain regular, full attendance.
• Supervise individual students or groups.
