You will differentiate instruction, plan lessons, and maintain student-progress records in a growth-focused setting. You will collaborate with colleagues, engage families in student growth, and apply research-based practices while managing a positive classroom

Qualifications

• Active state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Able to supervise students in different school settings and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with ability to modify during the year.
• Differentiates instruction to meet all students' needs.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and development.
• Use research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom and create a positive learning environment.
• Incorporate diverse curricula reflecting student backgrounds.
• Implement school-wide culture expectations and norms.
• Communicate with families about academic and social-emotional growth.
• Integrate technology to support learning in daily practice.
• Participate in planning and implementing non-instructional activities as needed.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
