Job summary

Physical Therapy Plus in Clinton, NJ is hiring a Physical Therapist for our outpatient clinic. You will assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, review referrals, document progress, and supervise assistants while delivering evidence-based care.

Ideal candidates hold an NJ license, CPR certification, and experience in outpatient orthopedics. A Master’s degree or higher is a plus, and familiarity with AI-assisted documentation is welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum.
• Master’s degree or equivalent is a plus.
• NJ license and CPR certification are required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans.
• Review physician referrals to determine PT treatment.
• Provide direct patient care per protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Develop plan of care and goals; create comprehensive program.
• Implement therapy and essential treatments.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes and progress reports.
