Job summary

Flagstar Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join skilled nursing facilities in NYC and surrounding areas. You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patients' function and cognition.

Pay rates range from $46-$48 per hour (W-2) or $57-$60 per hour (1099). We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, and benefits including paid sick leave and insurance options.

Qualifications

• Current NYS OT License and Registration.
• EMR Competence.
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for COTAs to follow.
• Supervise COTAs daily.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
