Job summary

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism or equivalent experience, strong English communication, and at least two years in news reporting. Must be flexible to work shifts and join SAG AFTRA. Salary ranges from $45,000 to $55,000.

Responsibilities

• Reports news stories for broadcast, assigning background and details.
• Arranges interviews with sources who provide information.
• Reviews copy for grammar, style, and formatting per guidelines.
• Gathers information through research, interviews, or events to ensure accuracy.
• Pitches story ideas to editors and producers relevant to the local community.
• Produces and presents reports for all platforms.
