U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in a designated non-bank territory. You will take applications, perform preliminary underwriting reviews, and forward files to processing and underwriting for approval.

The role requires an NMLS license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years in mortgage, sales, or real estate. Extensive travel away from branches is expected.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration required under the SAFE Act and Z regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned Non-Bank territory.
• Take applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews.
• Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval.
• Spend at least 50% of time away from U.S. Bank locations conducting sales activities.
