Great Oaks Charter School - New York City (GO-NYC) is seeking a dynamic Middle School STEM Teacher to join our mission-driven team. You will deliver rigorous STEM instruction in a 6-12 program, set high expectations, and foster authentic relationships with families to support student growth.

You will design engaging lessons, analyze data to guide instruction, and collaborate with staff to continually improve curriculum.

Qualifications

Proven success in implementing high-quality instruction that improves urban student achievement.
Exceptional relationship-building skills and clear communication with multiple stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree from a competitive college or university required; certification strongly preferred for STEM teaching.

Demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of STEM content.
Establish high expectations for student learning and quality of work.
Use diverse instructional strategies that are rigorous and engaging.
Plan lessons mapped to a year-long academic plan addressing learning needs.
