Qualifications

• Certification: NYS Teaching Certification in the appropriate grade level/subject area or eligibility for reciprocity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant content area required; Masters preferred for advanced instructional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned science instruction for grades 7–8.
• Differentiate instruction based on data to support all learners and provide interventions.
• Engage students with project-based learning and hands-on activities.
• Foster a positive classroom culture and build strong family partnerships.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and PLCs to improve teaching practice.
