Job summary

Corsicana ISD is seeking a Science Teacher for Corsicana Middle School in Corsicana, Texas to provide engaging science instruction aligned with TEA standards and district curriculum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with district curriculum.
• Plan and use instructional strategies reflecting diverse learning styles.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage student behavior.
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding student progress.
• Supervise aides and volunteers as assigned.
