Qualifications

• Must have a valid Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Reading Specialist K-12, Special Education K-12, or Secondary Education.
• Reading Specialist certification and structured literacy training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address literacy needs of students not met through regular instruction.
• Provide direct, explicit instruction in small groups.
• Collaborate with instructional staff for effective reading strategies.
