Job summary

Trenton Board of Education is seeking a Middle School Mathematics Teacher for Holland Middle School. This full-time (10-month) position pays an annual salary in the range of $71,525 to $117,475 and includes benefits such as medical, prescription, dental, and NJ State Pension eligibility.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid NJ teaching certification or be eligible for appropriate certification. The closing date is 08/26/2026 and reports go to the Building Principal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification or eligibility for appropriate certification.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements written instructional plans that meet the diverse needs, abilities, and interests of all students.
• Creates and maintains a classroom environment that supports learning and is developmentally appropriate.
• Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and establishes clear objectives aligned with those goals.
• Demonstrates a commitment to the district's philosophy of education and its instructional goals and objectives through instructional practices and professional conduct.
• Establishes and maintains positive, cooperative relationships with colleagues, students, and families.
• Performs other duties and assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by the building principal.
