Job summary

Fall River Public Schools seeks a dynamic Middle School Principal to lead program development and improvement across the school, ensuring alignment with district goals. You will supervise teaching staff, manage resources, and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment that supports diverse student needs and achievement.

The role requires strong knowledge of middle school pedagogy, data-informed planning, and effective communication with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications

• Certification/License: State Certification as required for position.
• Teaching Certification in related area (Middle School or subject area).
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers school programs aligned with district goals.
• Provides leadership and direction for ongoing evaluation and improvement of programs.
• Promotes a safe environment conducive to student learning and staff collaboration.
• Ensures policies and procedures are followed at the school.
• Keeps up with professional knowledge through seminars and research.
• Encourages staff growth and experimentation with new teaching approaches.
• Maintains accurate records for student activities and reporting by law.
• Coordinates with central office on HR, collective bargaining, and payroll.
