Qualifications

• Virginia teaching license with endorsement
• Graduation from accredited college with major in area of specialization
• Experience in middle school setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Establishes a flexible middle school instructional program and environment favorable to learning.
• Develops lesson plans and use of instructional materials; translates plans into learning experiences.
• Instructs students in area(s) of specialization and subject matter specified in state law and procedures.
• Evaluates students' progress and maintains records; communicates with students, counselors and parents.
