The teacher will deliver comprehensive curriculum, promote cultural understanding, and create a positive classroom climate that supports student achievement and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification/license in Michigan for secondary education with an endorsement in the subject.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning and assessing educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality Spanish language instruction to students.
• Incorporate cultural activities and resources to enhance language learning and promote appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
• Develop assessments and monitor student performance through tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curricula and participate in ongoing professional development initiatives.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and events to contribute to the overall mission of the institution.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students.
• Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school staff.
