Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a merchandising & stocking associate to keep shelves neat and help members find what they need. You will stand on your feet, unload trucks, stock shelves, and assist with club pick-up orders as required by shift.

Qualifications

• Able to pick up boxes and other heavy objects weighing more than 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; guides and supports through self-service tech; assists with purchases; locates merchandise; resolves issues; promotes products and services.
• Maintains facility safety by conducting safety sweeps; forklift spotting procedures; handling hazardous materials; reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintains sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning areas; stocking, organizing, and pricing; setting up displays; identifying shrink and damages; protecting fragile items.
• Monitors product quality, rotation, recalls, and sanitation; ensures promotional displays are clear and prominent.
• Follows policies and Open Door Policy; supports ethics and integrity in business processes.
• Completes tasks by coordinating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; prioritizing deadlines; learning from feedback and change.
• Ensures club pick up orders are filled and staged according to policy.
• Offers benefits messaging: health, PTO, and other company programs.
