Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Clinic Medical Assistant for the BHFC-White Hall clinic. The MA will support physicians with examinations, patient intake, vitals, and health history entry in the electronic medical record.

The ideal candidate will multi-task, show good decision making, have anatomy and medical terminology knowledge, and may assist with blood draws and specimen preparation in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical assistant program preferred.
• Previous MA experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification is required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment under physician supervision.
• Conduct patient intake and measure vital signs.
• Complete patient health history in the electronic medical record.
• May draw blood and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
