Torrey Holistics is seeking a dedicated Material Handler in Ontario, CA to ensure smooth material flow within our facility. This role supports receiving, inspection, and organization of materials, using forklifts to move items, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and contributing to efficient warehouse operations. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are expected, with forklift certification as a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and products.
• Utilize forklifts and other equipment to move materials to designated areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts.
• Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Assist in the training of new staff on material handling procedures.
