Job summary

AEO is hiring full-time Material Handlers for its Distribution Center to support fast-paced operations in Kansas. The role covers unloading, loading, warehousing, and staging of merchandise using manual and/or mechanical means.

The job offers a strong focus on safety and efficiency, with potential for growth in a climate-controlled facility and opportunities for development. Ideal candidates are 18+, possess a high school diploma or GED, and can operate pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Ability to operate pallet jack equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment by keeping safety a top priority.
• Sort, warehouse, stage, and load/unload cartons in an accurate, safe, and efficient manner.
• Unload inbound freight/load outbound freight.
• Stage outbound freight in shipping.
• Receive and warehouse incoming merchandise into module racks and floor locations.
• Pull merchandise from racks or move merchandise to open areas for pulling and distribution in replenishment department.
• Replenish and condense merchandise into most effective locations for order pulling in replenishment department.
• Operate manual and/or mechanical equipment in a safe and effective manner and maintain proper certifications.
• Ensure production and quality standards are met.
• Be open to performing other duties as assigned.
