Job summary

Exer Medical is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Glendora, CA. The LVN will be clinically responsible for patients in a department, delegating tasks to back-office staff and coordinating care with providers.

The role emphasizes patient safety, autonomy in nursing care, and effective communication with patients and teams. Responsibilities include triage, vital signs, IV/Phlebotomy where required, medication administration, patient education, and maintaining a safe, compliant care

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and unrestricted LVN license.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• IV/Phlebotomy certification required.
• Comfort with IV administration, phlebotomy, lab processing, injections, and EKGs.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize patient safety and satisfaction, maintaining dignity and comfort.
• Provide excellent patient care and coordinate with ED physicians.
• Triage patients, obtain vitals, complete nursing assessments.
• Explain procedures to patients to gain cooperation and understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Delegate within scope and manage patient flow and equipment.
