Job summary

Frederick County Public Schools is seeking a long-term substitute teacher to provide instruction and maintain classroom routines while the regular teacher is away. You will plan lessons, manage student behavior, and ensure the delivery of the essential curriculum to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 60 college credits required.
• MSDE professional teacher certificate required.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide for instructional needs and interests of students with daily lesson planning.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and effective use of time.
